Physicians and staff will be attracted through partnerships with the Northern Ontario School of Medicine (NOSM), York University, and Toronto Metropolitan University, which will help direct and train new professionals. State-of-the-art facilities, specialized units, and a Surgical Centre of Excellence will also make the new hospital sites appealing.

Yes, there will be ample work for physicians, supported by diverse practice opportunities, specialized units in Huntsville, and a Surgical Centre of Excellence in Bracebridge, all designed to meet a broad range of healthcare needs.
How will you address current and future staffing shortages?
Current and future staffing shortages will be addressed through collaboration with educational institutions for recruitment, ongoing engagement with the Muskoka Algonquin Health Team for sustainable recruitment strategies, and the creation of attractive work environments with advanced facilities and diverse practice opportunities.
